Black River Safari: |
| Enjoy a thrilling, scenic boat ride
down the Black River. Take lots of pictures of the crocodiles and
Mangrove Avenue. Refresh yourself at the YS Falls swing off the
Tarzan ropes like Jane, into the deep pools. Stop for pictures at
Bamboo Avenue, a protected grove of giant bamboo that arches over
the road for 3mi/4.8k to create a tropical canopy. |

| As with all Chukka adventures, your
journey begins with a safety and tour briefing. Helmets on! Before
we get ready to roll, we give you a demonstration and a chance to
ride in the practice ring ensuring that you are ready to hit the
rugged terrain. Ride through some 3000 acres of the Montpelier property.
Your journey will take you past historic ruins and amazing vistas
as you bob and weave through a working citrus plantation. Then you
proceed to 650ft above sea level where a panoramic view of the entire
Montpelier Valley awaits you. Your journey continues along the seven
mile Great River. This is where you can cool off and take a dip
or a swim in a refreshing Jamaican river. |
