| Adventures & Activities: |
Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday & Thursday: Shuttle to Reggae Beach! This is an incredibly beautiful, secluded, and generally quiet beach. Snacks, drinks, chairs and snorkeling equipment available for rent. Being just beyond walking distance of Ocho Rios, Reggae Beach does not attract a large tourist crowd. The beach tends to be more popular with Jamaicans, making for a more "authentic" Jamaican atmosphere. |
| Monday: A volunteer opportunity at the local pre-school where we can bring a few well needed donations, read to the students and do a bit of yoga with them followed by a trip to the neighboring estate and artist residence Mt. Plenty where we will enjoy a property tour, traditional Jamaica afternoon tea and a cool dip at the stunning source of the White River, so named because the limestone rocks give the water a white, milky color. |
Wednesday: Shopping, beach time and more at Island Village featuring duty free and specialty shopping, water sports and entertainment that includes Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville, the Cove Theater and ReggaeXplosion - an evolving exhibit that celebrates Jamaican Music by using images, videos and soundtracks from the 1950's to the present day. |
