| Date:
March 15-22, 2008 |
| |
| Accommodations:
Villa
Capri |
| |
| Yoga:
Twice Daily |
Classes
will be held next to the villa's private pool, overlooking the
calm waters of the Caribbean Sea . They will concentrate on manipulating
the postures and breath to cultivate vitality and to encourage
strength and flexibility of the body. Throughout this retreat
there will be a focus on how the asanas effect anatomy and physiology:
basically how yoga can transform and heal our lives. Beyond that,
Linda will work to help each student develop their fullest potential
of mind body and spirit. |
| |
| Linda
has developed her own style of yoga and of teaching that is not
bound to any specific lineage or tradition but embraces almost all.
Linda creates unique sequences (vinyasa krama) and no two sequences
are ever the same. Her classes are based on the ability of the student,
the season and the time of the day. She synthesizes the beauty of
form and healing potential of alignment of Iyengar and Anusara,
the fluidity and grace of Ashtanga and Jivamukti, and the strength
and integrity of Forrest Yoga. Linda has studied with senior teachers
of the above mentioned traditions and styles as well as Sivananda.

Pigeon

| This
44 acre site was once an island accessible only by sea. A
causeway now joins Pigeon Island to the mainland. Spend an afternoon
exploring the grasslands, dry tropical forest and quiet beaches.
Visit the interpretation center to learn more of the Pigeon Island
story. Take in the views from the British built forts at the
summits of the islands where on clear days you can see all the way
to the neighboring island, Martinique. |
