| What
is a Yogaway? |
| It’s
a yoga getaway. A fun, transforming and spiritual vacation that
nurtures positive change in your life. A Yogaway is a week of self
discovery, relaxation and fun for everyone. RaeLynn and Jennifer
take 10 to 20 students to a remote, beach-side resort where for
one blissful week, you’ll nourish your mind with restorative
meditation techniques…you’ll nourish your body with
muscle-strengthening yoga instruction (not to mention great local
cuisine)… and you’ll nourish your spirit with new friends,
an intoxicating tropical setting and plenty of “you”
time. Past groups have truly inspired RaeLynn and Jennifer to continue
to share their passion for yoga, meditation and travel. |

| Instructors: |
RaeLynn
and Jennifer successfully unite the art and science of yoga and
meditation into creative, transforming, fun retreats, in exotic
locations. This will be their fifth Yogaway.
RaeLynn is a long-time yoga student and teacher with 16 years experience.
Her classes are based on the teachings of B.K.S. Iyengar, the yoga
master with whom she has studied. She continues to study with various
other senior Iyengar instructors including Gabriel Halpern, William
Prottengier, Aadil Palkhivala and Patricia Walden.
“RaeLynn lives Yoga as a lifestyle. She has demonstrated the
power to transform herself but also those who come in contact with
her teaching. Her style is one of quiet power and presence with
a down-home sense of humor,” Gabriel Halpern, Master Yoga
Instructor, Chicago.
Jennifer Simpson has been a massage therapist and student of meditation
and yoga for 11 years. She combines her wisdom of the ancient and
contemporary teachings to help each student find their own way in
meditation. She exposes the group to various kinds of meditation
techniques incorporating breathing, visualization, affirmations,
poetry and restorative yoga. Focusing on the health and balance
of the body, mind and spirit Jennifer brings an energy to the group
that is contagious. |

| Adventures
& Activities: |
Each
morning of the Yogaway will begin with a two hour yoga class with
meditation. As the day winds down there will be a sunset meditation
on the beach. RaeLynn and Jennifer customize each class to match
your needs and experience level.
A delicious, healthful brunch buffet at Harmony Suites restaurant,
The Edge, will follow the morning class. It is known as one of the
best fine dining restaurants on the island and the chef has created
a special menu specifically for yoga retreat participants!
The included welcome and farewell dinners will provide a wonderful
group opportunity to experience Chef Bobo’s unique Eurobbean
fusion cuisine at this stunning, waterfront setting. He has earned
fame in the whole of the Caribbean for his cooking style, flavors,
presentation and attention to detail.
The following excursions will give us a taste us of what the island
has to offer. In addition to these activities you can do as much
or as little as you choose with plenty of time to relax, enjoy and
just be! |

Pigeon
Island
An afternoon will be spent exploring this 40-acre islet connected
by a causeway to St. Lucia's west coast. It is a beautiful nature
park which reflects a thousand years of history. There are marked
trails leading to breathtaking view points and a number of historical
sites, including the remains of an 18th-century British fort. The
island also has a secluded beach where we will hold our evening
meditation. |
| |
Day
Sail
There is no better way to experience St. Lucia’s beauty then
aboard a boat! View the lush coastline and quaint fishing villages
as we sail south towards the spectacular Pitons. Once in Soufriere
we will disembark and visit world’s only drive-in volcano,
a waterfall and tropical garden. A lunch buffet featuring local
cuisine will be served before we get back onboard to make our way
to a beautiful cove where we can swim in the calm Caribbean sea
before returning to the north of the island. |
| |
Rainforest
Nature Hike
Visit a world where lushness is overpowering, where elusive parrots
squawk overhead, orchids scent the air, hummingbird buzz near brilliant
heliconia and climbing palms encircle tall trees. We will visit
the Barre de L’isle Forest Reserve, a ridge that divides the
eastern and western halves of St Lucia. It takes approximately one
hour to walk this one-mile trail featuring panoramic views of the
mountain rainforest, surrounding villages, the Caribbean Sea and
the Atlantic coast. |
